ALEX JACK CUP FINAL 2024!

ANOTHER FINAL!

To say we are all buzzing for this is an understatement, we saw Athletic win the EoSFL Div 3 and League cup last year. This season they look favourites for the Division 2 crown and are in the Alex Jack Cup Final 🏆

The trophy is a straight knockout ran by the East of Scotland Football League, the winners entering a threeway playoff with the Southern Counties Alba Cup and Strathclyde cup winners. The winners of that gain entry to the Scottish Cup 2024/25 as seen last year with Luncarty.

ROAD TO FINAL

1st round - Bo'ness Athletic defeated Edinburgh College 4-1 at home - Aug 12 2023

2nd Round - They defeated Crossgates Primrose 4-0 at home - Sep 2nd 2023

Quarter Finals - 7-2 win over Newburgh at home - Sep 26th 2023

Semi Final - they beat Arniston Rangers 3 nil Away - Nov 25th 2023 (postponed from Oct 28th)

FINAL - Vs Heriot Watt - Albyn Park, Broxburn - Kick Off 14:00

18 goals for - 3 against, incredible stats once again, defeating div 2, Premier, div 2, div 1 opponents 💪

Another massive day in the fantastic journey/story of Athletic so far, an incredibly welcoming and friendly club who provide a really high level of football with plenty of goals.

Last season was one of the most surreal in football, the stats and performances truly something else, we loved following the team home and away, unable to attend as much this season, but it is brilliant to see the momentum continue.
