Next stop Cliftonhill!

Full steam ahead!

We are getting into the business end of the Scottish Lowland league season as Bo'ness United make the trip to Cliftonhill to face Albion Rovers.

Known for its Iron and Steel, the town of Coatbridge was dubbed the industrial heartland of Scotland. Rovers showcasing this spirit with their industrious performances at home, 4 wins now on the bounce under Manager Sandy Clark.

United are 2 wins out of 4 on the road, the last two being defeats to both Celtic B and Cumbernauld Colts. They did secure a win in their last game against Caley Braves at home, manager Stuart Hunter changing things up, that ultimately paid off.

Following Friday nights win for the Wee Jambos over East Kilbride, this match is now 4th Vs 10th, as Bo'ness slip down 1 spot at the top end of the table.

The last fixture between the two sides was at Newtown Park, a close encounter only seperated by 1 goal scored by Albion Rovers. Can United return the favour and get back on track on the road, or will Rovers continue their really good home form? Find out today as the two teams come head to head at the Reigart stadium, with a 15:00 kick off ⚽️🤘💙

This isn't the first time for us at the stadium, as a mate used to play there, but it is the first time attending a game. Hopefully a good contest between the two, looking forward to it, absolutely love older grounds 💪
